LITERATURE

The Foundation inventories numerous booklets, pamphlets, and journals on Parkinson's disease and are available at no charge.

The most comprehensive Parkinson's disease educational tool available, the Parkinson Care Series (PCS), was developed by the Parkinson Foundation of the Heartland for educating individuals with PD, their families and caregivers, and professional caregivers, to improve the quality of life for those with Parkinson's disease.

The Parkinson Care Series is an eight-module video presentation with supporting handouts. It can be used as an informational tool and as a professional training complete with continuing education credits. The series can be borrowed or purchased from the Foundation and also can be presented by Foundation staff.
