STRETCH
Stretching and flexibility exercises should be “the first step in your exercise program.” The stretching exercises we do in class helps offset the muscle rigidity that comes with Parkinson’s disease, and people who are more flexible tend to have an easier time with everyday movements. Upper and lower body stretches are done in a chair and/or standing.
BIO
I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Class instructor. I am certified in Yoga, Pilates, Barre, Spinning, Pedal for Parkinson’s, Stretch, Senior Fitness, Balance Training, Functional movement, TRX, Strength and Conditioning, Delay the Disease, Power Moves, Yoga for Parkinson’s. I studied dance at local dance studios and instructed dance for over 15 years. I have been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. I have always been passionate about fitness. My goal is helping to improve my clients/students quality of life. I enjoy hiking, yoga, Pilates, biking, hanging out with friends & my pup Tedi.
