The fourth annual Living Well With Parkinson’s Disease Conference: “Helping You Live a Balanced Life” will occur on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm at The DoubleTree by Hilton in Greentree. Over 230 participants attended the event last year and we anticipate a larger crowd this year!
Whether you have been recently diagnosed or have been living with Parkinson Disease for years, the Living Well Conference, presented in partnership with The Cahouet Center for Comprehensive Parkinson’s Care, will provide important information and resources to help you manage Parkinson Disease and live a balanced life.
Afternoon breakout sessions include presentations focused on exercise (chair yoga, dance and boxing), long-term planning, hospital experience and research. Also join us to hear Lisa Story of Hope Grows https://www.hopegrows.net/present a breakout session focused on caregiver identity and anticipatory grief.
There will also be a diverse resource area with medical, allied medical, health and community support organizations providing information on programs and services that can be beneficial to people living with Parkinson Disease and their families.
We look forward to a day full of enrichment, education and fellowship within the Parkinson Community.
