Virtual Balance and Mobility Senior Exercise Class

CLASS DESCRIPTION
This exercise program is an eclectic mix of functional exercises designed to help someone manage their Parkinson’s Disease (PD) or other chronic movement conditions more effectively. Exercises include aerobic and resistance or strength training, stretching, balance, and voice exercises. The program is designed to challenge each participant without being overwhelmed. These classes are most beneficial for those with moderate to severe symptoms and who have difficulty with balance and/or walking. Caregivers of all ages are welcome to join too!
This class is also available to join in-person at the exact same time each week. If you choose to join in-person, the class location is at Mt. Ararat Community Activity Center in the Multi-Purpose Room (745 N. Negley Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15206). If you wish to join this class in-person you will need to register at the front desk at the Mt. Ararat Community Activity Center. If you wish to join this class virtually, register below. You will receive a Zoom link so you can join from the comfort of your own home.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Pasean Evans, certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, has been teaching exercise classes with PFWPA since 2023. She uses herknowledge of fitness, upbeat music, health and wellness to motive and push participants to achieve their goals. Her classes are a mix of fun, challenging, informative, and a social group experience. Participants not only enjoy her classes, but feel the benefits from working out!
